Ratanakiri: On the morning of Friday, October 6, 2023, the Department of Social Affairs, Veterans, and Youth Rehabilitation in Rattanakiri Province cooperated with the O’Yadao District Administration, as well as the administrations of Pak Nhay Commune, Ya Tong Commune, and Sesan Commune, to jointly facilitate the distribution of UNICEF donations through the Provincial Department of Social Affairs. These donations were provided to support 18 families in O’Yadao district, comprising women who were victims of violence, widows with multiple children, and economically disadvantaged families caring for children with disabilities.
The assistance packages consisted of 11 essential items, including 25 kg of rice, 1 pack of noodles, 1 pack of fermented fish, 1 pack of fish sauce, 1 pack of soy sauce, 1 liter of cooking oil, 1 kg of salt, 1 kg of sugar, 1 kg of MSG, 10 bars of soap, and 1kg of soap powder.
