Svay Rieng: On the morning of October 7, 2023, Her Excellency Nhem Morakot, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Women’s Affairs, presided over a gathering and gift distribution ceremony held for 300 individuals with disabilities, impoverished families, and students in Phum Thmey, Chrakmtes commune, Bavet City, Svay Rieng Province.

The ceremony also witnessed the presence of other esteemed dignitaries, including H.E Chap To, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation, H.E Touch Poliva, Deputy Governor, H.E Men Eng, Deputy Governor, as well as representatives from relevant departments and institutions. In total, there were 389 participants in attendance.

Mr. Pen Sovanny, Director of the Svay Rieng Provincial Department of Social Affairs, disclosed that each recipient received a gift package along with 40,000 KHR, while students were given a gift package and 10,000 KHR.
