Phnom Penh, October 24, 2023 – H.E. Sim Sothun, the Delegate of the Royal Government of Cambodia and Director General of the National Social Assistance Fund, presided over a meeting with representatives from the World Bank. The meeting, which took place at the Ministry of Social Affairs, focused on addressing technical issues related to the National Social Assistance Fund. It was conducted in collaboration with relevant ministries and development partners and spanned from October 23 to 27, 2023.

The discussions and deliberations held during this meeting aimed to enhance the functioning and effectiveness of the National Social Assistance Fund, demonstrating a shared commitment to the welfare and well-being of Cambodia’s citizens.
