Phnom Penh, November 16, 2023 – H.E Ek Kret, Secretary of State for the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation, and Chairman of the Working Group on the Elderly and Veterans, along with the National Center for the Protection of the Elderly, presided over a morning meeting on Thursday. The session focused on reviewing and discussing the progress of implementing the Action Plan 2021-2025, aligning with the National Policy on the Elderly 2017-2030. The agenda also covered the achievements, challenges, and future directions of the Department of the Elderly and Veterans.

The distinguished gathering included H.E the Secretary of State, Undersecretary of State, Director General of Social Services, and the Deputy Director of the Department of the Elderly and Veterans.
