Koh Kong, November 21, 2023 – H.E Sorn Sophal, Director General of the General Department of Rehabilitation, led a Ministry delegation on Tuesday to visit YAZAKI (CAMBODIA) PRODUCTS CO., LTD. The purpose of the visit was to officially hand over a gold-level certificate in recognition of the company’s exemplary commitment to employing persons with disabilities (PWDs).

The ceremony, attended by key dignitaries including H.E Khom Phalloeun, Delegate of the Royal Government of Cambodia overseeing the PWDs Fund, Her Excellency Chi Va, Deputy Governor of Koh Kong Province, Mr. San Ratana, Director of the Department of Disability Welfare, Mr. Kong Samrith, Director of the Provincial Department of Social Affairs, and Mr. Men Sreythavrath, Director of Disability Rights Administration, marked a significant acknowledgment of YAZAKI’s dedication to inclusive employment practices.

During the event, H.E Khom Phalloeun commended the factory’s efforts and urged them to continue expanding their recruitment of individuals with disabilities. He further emphasized the importance of actively encouraging and guiding employees with disabilities to visit the commune administration for the acquisition of Disability Identification Cards.
