Hanoi, December 21-22, 2023 – Mr. You Sopheak, Director of the Victim Assisstance Department at the General Department of Social Services, actively participated in a Consultation Workshop focusing on Standard Procedures and Criteria for Victim Verification and Identification.

The event, organized by COMMIT Vietnam, brought together key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Women’s Affairs, and the Secretary-General of the National Committee for Counter Trafficking (NCCT) from the Ministry of Interior. Representatives from six countries, namely Myanmar, China, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam, gathered at Le Casa Hotel in Hanoi for this crucial discussion. Notably, 34 participants were present, with 16 from the Vietnamese side, 1 from the International Labour Organization (ILO), and 2 from the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
