Phnom Penh: On the morning of November 17, 2023, H.E Chea Somethy, Minister of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation, along with leaders from the Ministry, met with disabled youths who achieved remarkable success by securing one gold medal and four bronze medals at the 2023 Information Technology competition held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

H.E Chea Somethy reiterated his congratulations to these young individuals with disabilities, acknowledging their dedication to bringing home gold and bronze medals despite the intense competition. He further encouraged other young people with disabilities to strive for excellence, emphasizing the importance of learning and participating in future competitions to showcase the remarkable abilities of Cambodia’s youth with disabilities.
