Government Extends Aid to Vulnerable Communities: Donations for Poor, Elderly, Widows, PWDs, Orphans, and Disaster-Affected Families

Stung Treng: On the morning of November 8, 2023, the Department of Social Affairs, Veterans, and Youth Rehabilitation in Stung Treng Province collaborated with the Siem Pang District Administration to organize a distribution of the Royal Government’s aid. The aid was directed to support 370 families affected by natural disasters, including the poor, elderly, widows, persons with disabilities (PWDs), orphans, and families grappling with the aftermath of disasters. The event, chaired by H.E Si Suon, Acting Provincial Governor, representing H.E Svay Sam Eang, Governor of Stung Treng Province. The aid provided essential assistance, comprising 25kg of rice, a package of instant noodles, canned fish, fish sauce, and a blanket.
